I am the MAXI
Maxi Fisher
I am fortunate enough to have been in a position with my family to travel and experience many aspects of the world before I was 20. It saddens me to think that their are young children who may not have these opportunities due to these types of cancers. I was able to undertake a number of climbs in South America in 2018 and this is what has driven my mum and I. I must admit though, Chimborazo got the better of me about 500 m out from the summit. This challenge enables me to share a worthwhile cause with my generation and support my cousin in taking a journey beside him and for him. Plus...I get to do it with my mum, what more can a young man ask for.

I am the MUM
Toni Fisher
I am a Secondary Teacher in South Australia. I have three children, aged 20, 17 and 13 with my husband of 30+ years. I am turning 50 this year and foresaw an opportunity to reach out and help those impacted by Leukaemia. I am passionate about this cause and are being honest in saying that this will be a huge undertaking for myself physically, mentally and emotionally. I am no 'spring chicken', but feel that my peaks during this journey will be in some way similar to those impacted by Leukaemia. There will be good days, and definitely some more challenging ones. Bring them on!
